THE FARMER’S DILEMMA

I have never done this – I have never used my blog to post an article from someone else, but this one was too compelling.  I could write pages on my feelings about this, but the author of this article said it much better than I ever could.  Let me simply say – support your local farmers and protect the integrity of not just the food supply, but an important part of Americana.  Buy directly from the farmers you know – the people who care for your food, respect it, and see it as a part of their character.  Join a local CSA, stop by that roadside farm stand, visit a farm and say thanks to the people who work harder than most of us only to realize little to no personal gain except doing what they think is right for the American diet.
